Nissan Foundation Announces Grant to International Museum of Cultures

The International Museum of Cultures has been notified they have been awarded a 2013 Nissan Foundation grant for an Interactive Language Development Program.

The grant will fund the filming production of a language presentation and twelve language stations to be installed in the Children’s Lab that is being developed. The 2nd Annual Nissan Educator’s Seminar, scheduled for Aug. 5th will unveil the plans for the Children’s Lab design.

The Nissan Foundation partnership with the International Museum of Cultures has been developed over the past several years and programs developed have been of significant value to student tours and outreach programming. The Electronic Field Trip, a web based tour, was made possible via a grant from Nissan in 2012.
