The International Museum of Cultures Anniversary Banquet was a great Success. The house was packed and we all had such a great time.
The Hilton Garden Inn provided us excellent food with equally great service.
Our Emcee was Glen Majors, a past Board of Trustee Chair. Mr. Majors introduced Florentino Ramirez, our Chairman of the Board of Trustees to greet the attendees.
The Invocation was by Pastor Toby Snowden of High Pointe Baptist Church.
Our delicious dinner was followed by the rich voice and music of Dr. Bill White, who took us down memory lane.
Our Speaker, Mr. John Wooten, was introduced by Mrs. Betty Michalski. Mr. Wooten inspired us to embrace “oneness”. He spoke of his humble beginnings and God’s blessings on a large family that was raised by a single Mom who did not believe where you began in life had a direct effect on what you were going to accomplish.
After Mr. Wooten’s inspiring talk, Special Recognitions were presented to Margaret Dombrowsky and Ken Bowers as Recipients of the Nancy Marwill Volunteer Award.
Our evening closed with the announcement of the winners of the Silent Auction followed by the Benediction by Dr. Robert Simmons of the Dallas First Church of the Nazarene.
We want to give a special thanks to the Table Sponsors.
